Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan has grossed over Rs 1,100 crore globally breaking the box-office record made by his comeback film Pathaan
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is currently on cloud nine. After making a smashing comeback at the box-office with Yash Raj Films’ much-awaited spy-thriller Pathan, his recent release Jawan has broken all box-office collections. The Atlee directorial has remained unstoppable despite having released a month back. The movie has now added yet another feather to its achievement as the movie has grossed over Rs 1,100 crore at the box-office globally.
Yes, you read that right! The Nayanthara starrer has become the first Hindi movie to achieve this milestone. According to a report by IndiaTV, the movie’s box-office collection currently stands at Rs 1,103.27 crores with a contribution of Rs 733.37 crore from the domestic box-office and Rs 369.90 crore from the overseas box-office. The makers of the recently took to their official social media handle to make the same announcement. Sharing a creative of the same, they wrote on Instagram, “Jawan Making & breaking box office records every day! Book your tickets now! Talking about Jawan, the movie also stars Sunil Grover, Sanya Malhotra, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Leher Khan, Riddhi Dogra, Deepika Padukone and many other known faces in pivotal roles. The movie is being touted as brilliant by the audience as well as the critics as it is different from any other SRK starrer they have watched. Not only does the movie showcase the actor in a grey-shade double role, but it also has a special women empowerment message. On the work front, SRK will be next seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. Starring Taapsee Pannu, the movie is one of the most-awaited projects of SRK till date. His character Pathaan will also be seen making a cameo in YRF’s Tiger 3, co-starring Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi.
